Day 244 Papier Mache fish

This fish is on the cabinet for the Special Youth Services department secretary. As some of you may be aware, we have a special Adult Transition class that meets at our district offices. You may have seen groups of disabled folks walking around with a coach. This class helps the developmentally disabled adults transition to mainstream society. Anyway, this fish was made by one of the students who gave it to the secretary. She is very proud of it and I love the colors and the story behind it.

This hangs in the AUHSD District office. There is another one right next to it. It has a little description with a PC statement along the lines of "while this painting does not represent AUHSD's rich multi-cultural heritage...I'll find the full quote and post it in the comments, maybe.
